CommentsMy name is Bob Surgenor, and I am a retired police officer from the Berea Ohio Police Department. My partner and I started three web sites dedicated to our men and women in law enforcement, firefighting, and the military. You can visit our parent site at www.FootySites.com. From there you can access www.FootyPD.com, featuring full length unedited police videos, www.FootyFD.com, featuring unedited firefighting videos, or www.FootyGI.com, loaded with videos submitted by our troops. Our mission is to make our men and women in uniform LOOK GOOD! We screen all videos uploaded to the sites to assure that there is no negative content. We want the public to see how incredibly difficult it is for our personnel as they serve the public. By watching us in action, they will hopefully appreciate the great job our public servants do on a daily basis. I encourage you to visit our three sites and upload any videos or pictures that you believe would help us convey the positive image we are trying to portray. Thanks so much, and please, STAY SAFE !!!! RSurgenor@Footysites.com

CommentsI'm a serving Police Officer in New Zealand. I find it interesting looking at the conditions that American Police Departments work under. The organisation of every city & state having their own Police Department is in contrast to New Zealand where we have one Police Department which serves the whole country. Thank you for the opportunity to view a snap shot of your city & police department. Yours Sincerely James Walker

CommentsChad, You have some very fine officers who stand up for what is right and refuse to take the easy way out. Difficulties in life make us who we are. Mistakes teach us some valuable lessons, if we are smart enough to learn from them. I pray that your officers will hold themselves to a higher standard and set a good example for future generations. May God continue to guide them and remind them to honor the badge and all that it stands for. I pray that they will not let their responsibility and power go to their heads. God keep you all safe

CommentsHello Chief, We spooke about the noise pollution along Park St, and the speeders along same. Thanks for the efforts. It was quiet for couple of days, but some of these old boys have not got the message yet. There are some regulars in the /hood that need mufflers on vehicles, as they can be heard IN the house, over half mile away. This cant be good for the children in the daycare center or the school. I will vollunter my time to assist anyway you can use me. I am retired law-enforcement, with over forty years in several levels and types. At your service...John D Mathis
CommentsI am a 24 year old male in Paragould, Arkansas. My goal in life is to become a police officer and i am ready to get started. I am really unsure on how to go about getting my goal started. The mayor of Cambell, Mo., wants me to join the force there and he said I will have to go through training and he is working on the paper work. He has been working on the paper work for 1 month. The mayor is a very busy man and I totally understand this, although I am ready to get the wheels rolling a little faster. If you have any advice in which will help me get my career started please contact me at the number above, thanks for your time it was ! greatly appreciated. Kindest Regards Michael A. Barrow
CommentsHi, I am a Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff (19 yrs) and I need some help in a very important project I am working on. It is a book called the "First Responders Handbook of Humor." It is a combination of a stress management workshop I give to first responders and humorous stories from first responders as experienced in their careers. What I need is your help to spread the word at your station about my project and website www.FirstRespondersBook.com to help me get more stories. All the details are on the website. For people that submit stories, they will receive a free copy of the book and a portion of the books proceeds will go to a first responder charity. One goal for this book is to get first responder stories from all 50 states. So far I am closing in on that goal but don't have any yet from your state. CommentsPocahontas Police Department really has come a long way since you, Chad became the new chief. Its good to FINALLY have someone who takes time to LISTEN to citizens and solve problems as quickly and as satisfactory as if you were in the same position. You're doing and excellent job! I also would like to praise the professionalism Officer Watson shows towards her position. She needs to know how important she is to the city of Pocahontas but to three little people. They are honored to be able to call her Officer Watson but they swell with pride when only they get to call her Officer "aunt" Sarah Watson. The "King Kids" are extremely proud of her and love her very much. Its been a rocky road but she has really become one hell of an officer. I believe that has A LOT to do with your guidance. Please pass this on: Sarah oops Officer Watson there alot of rocks between us but i want you to know how proud I am of you. You have become a very dedicated officer and truly are a big assets to Pocahontas. The kids love you and are extremely honored that only they get to have an Officer "aunt" Sarah watson. you truly are here to protect and serve the citizens of pocahontas. Stick with chad and the skys the limit. .Both of you, keep up the good work and Chad keep the officers coming that have the same beliefs and values that you do and the city will be transformed. Officer Watson, remember that you truly are making a diffference. Without any doubt in the lives of 3 young kids who want their aunt sarah to know how much they adore her and think shes doing a wonderful job. We love ya. Tuff loves to tell people who his aunt sarah is because no one aunt sarah is as special as his...Keep up the Good Work Ya'll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
