Like your web page very much. Im 50 yrs. old and work at Fort Polk Army Base Fire Dept. (Federal Firefighter) I'm Senior man in the department with more federal time than anyone else ha ha. (29 yrs). I was born in Hartford, Arkansas in 1948 on a Dairy farm owned by my family at the time but moved shortly afterwards to Fort Smith and lived there until 1962 and then moved to Leesville, La and been here since. Been a firefighter since high school with my first job in 1967 with the Leesville Fire Dept. Then to Vietnam for 18 months and then back to Louisiana and back to fire fighting. Good to stop by guys, be safe and stay cool this summer in this heat. Best of luck to your department. BTW my department has 45 men in with all of us cross trained to Crash Fire Rescue because of the airport on the Base (4200 ft) We have 3 fire stations one on the North portion of the base and one on the south end and one big one at the Airport for CFR duty.
